Installation & Handling Notes

Tension - Apply moderate, even tension when rigging. Over-stretching deforms mesh shape and accelerates fiber fatigue; excessive slack causes tangling and poor fishing performance.

Panel joining - Join panels mesh-to-mesh using approved seaming twine or rope; reinforce selvedges and edges with rope for load distribution.

Rigging - Fit float line at the top and lead/sinker line at the bottom according to the fishing plan; verify buoyancy balance before deployment.

Chafing protection - Protect contact zones (ground gear, sea bed, hull edges) with chafing guards or rubber hose to extend service life.

UV exposure - Store idle nets away from direct sunlight; prolonged UV exposure degrades PE even with UV stabilizers.

Regular inspection - Check for broken twines, worn or deformed meshes, and loose seams; repair promptly with standard net-repair kits.
