Norwegian Trout Exports Declined in August, But Exports To Poland Surged.

According to SalmonBusiness on September 4th, Norwegian trout exports in August fell 28% year-on-year to 6,337 tons, with export value decreasing by 13% to NOK 551 million. The average export price was approximately NOK 87 per kilogram, compared to approximately NOK 72 per kilogram in the same period last year. Poland, the United States, and Ukraine are the largest export markets for Norwegian trout. Exports to Poland increased by 159% to 1,423 tons. Export value more than doubled, with a year-on-year increase of 210%, adding NOK 75 million.
